I went to State Street on Saturday night for the same reasons half the people there went; to see if something was gonna happen. The other half went to show off their costumes.
Needless to say, it was a peacefull event and even though I didn't pay to get in- I slipped in just before the 7:30 deadline, it would have been easily worth the $5, in my humble opinion.
Great People, great costumes and some good live bands and cops with a sense of humor.
Waxing America said it best, it turned out way better than expected and restores my faith in Mayor Dave.
Not that it was wavering, anyhow but he's had a hard time wiht this lately.
Now if we could just make it profitable....
