Since the new school referendum passed there have been many conversation about what to name it. Obviously everyone wants to name it Barry Avarez Elementary, and I honestly have nothing against that.
But what if we named it after a thing instead of a person? Why does it have to be a person? why couldn't it be an animal?
I nominate one of Wisconsin's many endangered species for the name of the new school.
Try these on for size and tell me if I'm wrong:
Foxglove Elementary
Thickspike Elementary
Blue Ash Elementary
Hine's Emerald Elementary
Timber Wolf Elementary
Yellow Rail Elementary
Osprey Elemetary
